Find a diploma it’s easy to get in two years in France to have a job in the multimedia industry
At the end of highschool, each student is in front of lot of choices about his future. What does one want to study? Where do I want to study? What sort of job i want to work for? And so on … I would like to focus about a specific degree in France that may be achieve in 2 years, it is called a DUT SRC.
What the hell is a DUT SRC?
It is a degree that suggests Communications networks and services (in french “Services et Réseaux de Communications”). The target of this degree is to obtain a double capability in services and networks: communication and service development on electronic media (websites, DVD, …), Developing and implementation of information technologies and networks.
You can apply for this degree after finishing high school, in France you need to have a “baccaulaurat”.
Program of the diploma
The program on the first and the second year:
– Modern culture and language (aesthetics and culture, law, management, economics, marketing, office automation, project approach);
– Scientific and technical (systems and communications networks, arithmetic, electronics, networks, computer algorithms, operating systems, architecture, information systems, databases);
– Communicational culture (speculation and practice of communication, communication services and new technologies of info and communication).
An internship of ten weeks minimum and tutored projects (three hundred hours) complete the training.
We will be able to also say that it is feasible to work and follow courses at the same time, it permits the student to gain work experience and get some money, it’s called do a”DUT SRC en alternance“.
Opportunities after a DUT SRC
Areas of activity of a DUT SRC are designing and developing multimedia, home automation, building automation, and computer graphics. They're suitable for election as helper project manager multimedia, network manager in SMEs and have charge of the intranet and internal communications companies.
They can also continue their studies to get a bachelor, an engineering school or school concentrating on communication.
One last note, you'll need to communicate french to follow this degree.
