Hello everybody, it’s Richard Lopez again from SatelliteMapReview.com and today I’d like to have a look at the Memory Map Adventurer series of GPS devices. I’ve already discussed a few outstanding GPS mapping devices such as the Satmap Active 10 Plus and the Garmin Montana series. The reason I like these models is because of the quality of the on-screen mapping options. It used to be that a handheld GPS device would just do the basics, giving you your GPS co-ordinates, your bearing and perhaps a very basic rendering of your environment, but nothing resembling a real map. Now, with the Montana series, Satmap Active 10 and the Memory Map Adventurer series GPS is so much more than just, well, GPS! These GPS devices use Ordnance Survey-powered maps generated on-screen to give you an unprecedented all-round vision and understanding of your physical environment whilst laying all your GPS and positional tools over the top. So, let’s have a look at what Memory Map have to offer with their Adventurer series of GPS.

Introduced in October 2010, the MUT reduces the number of tools a soldier needs to carry with him. A focus of this Leatherman is for use in dis-assembling, repairing and cleaning firearms.

The HBO mini series Band of Brothers is viewed as among the finest warfare motion pictures ever made. Based on the book by Stephen Ambrose, the ten episodes tell the story from the men of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Regiment of the American 101st Airborne. The mini series begins with their basic training at Toccoa, Georgia prior to heading on to Britain as they prepare for a part in the D-Day Landings at Normandy.

What is most interesting about this innovation is its size which is paralleled by its functionality. Reaching from about 230 lumens, this marker-sized torch proves to be useful in emergency cases and situations where flashlight is needed the most.
